Suds, Pups and Pints

Join us on Saturday, September 16th, 2023, at Sunset Park in Mount Dora, Florida, for the inaugural 'Suds, Pups and Pints,' brought to you by Klausman Law. It’s a celebrity dog wash featuring members of The Jim Colbert Show from Real Radio 104.1 FM, along with Mount Dora Mayor Crissy Stile, and other local notables. Bring your four-legged family members and enjoy some pints available from Pisces Rising while your pup enjoys a sudsy bath, with proceeds benefiting the Humane Society of Lake County. It kicks off at 3:00 pm with live music from our DJ, The Angel of Boom, from the Monsters in the Morning on Real Radio 104.1 FM.

From 3:00-4:30 pm, the eight dog wash stations will be manned by two volunteers each from our benefiting organization, the Humane Society of Lake County, and for a donation, you can get your dog a bath without breaking your back, all while enjoying a cold brew. Also during this time, folks can check out the items available for the Silent Auction, as well as demonstrations from Darryl Payne of Pawfection Dog Training.

Then, at 4:45 pm, the “Not So Silent” Auction begins, and that’s when our DJ Angel becomes our auctioneer, and will auction off the members of The Jim Colbert Show to wash dogs, along with the Mayor of Mount Dora. Proceeds would also go to the Humane Society.

Everything wraps up at 6:00 pm, just in time for everyone to find a great meal at the many restaurants that surround Sunset Park. Mount Dora is a very dog friendly city, with lots of stores and businesses keeping a water bowl available for our four-legged friends.

Sunset Park and Pedestrian Mall is located at 230 W. 4th Avenue, Mount Dora.
