Drink Coffee & Live Longer?
As reported in the N.Y Times, A new study shows that people who drank 1-3 cups of coffee each day were up to 30% less likely to die during the study, than those who did not drink coffee.
Even more good news for the coffee consumers, the results were the same whether you the coffee was black or with some sugar.
The study was published this week in The Annals of Internal Medicine.
Biobank, a large medical database with health information from people across Britain, analyzed coffee consumption data collected from the U.K. They looked at demographic, lifestyle and dietary information collected from over 170,000 people, ranging in age between 37 and 73 over seven years.
