Workers at Maitland hotel are here legally despite false claims

A video surfaced this weekend and was shared by Republican congressional candidate Laura Loomer claiming that "illegal aliens...in Maitland...given pre-loaded credit cards, hotel rooms and clothing."

This video led to the planning of a rally to protest them being in Central Florida. Several news stations investigated and learned that these workers are here legally as part of the H-2A program and will be working at Dewar Nurseries in Apopka. When the protesters learned of their mistake, many still rallied outside of the Extended Stay motel in Maitland where these workers were staying.
