Longtime Friend of Real Radio Beth Barrett Dies at 68

Remembering Beth Barrett

Beth Cheves Barrett passed unexpectedly from this earth January 1, 2022. Born in Macon, Georgia November 4, 1953 she moved with her parents to Eau Gallie, Florida in 1965. She graduated from Eau Gallie High School in 1971. She has resided in Merritt Island, Florida since 2004.

She is survived by her son, Jason Barrett of Ivey, Georgia; sister Leigh McCloud of Port St. John, Florida; and brother Parry Cheves of Palm Bay, Florida.

She is predeceased by her parents Joseph P. (Jack) Cheves, Olive Lee Thomason Cheves, and son Sam Barrett.

She was an active supporter of Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Hospital, Shriners Hospitals, 2021 Special Olympics, ASPCA and several other charities.
