Family time AND a Yankee Game? Yep! Actually 2 Yankee games vs. Red Sox and Twins. Fortunately the Bronx Bombers did not disappoint the home crowd. (we got there early on this day)My sister and I had an amazing time at the taping of The Late Show with Steven Colbert. We lucked out with front-row seats and saw Sean & Dylan Penn on the show. For dessert, Ben & Jerry's ice cream on the way out the door!Props to my younger sister who lives in NJ but knows how to park in NYC. Check both pics for the distance between both cars. She not only parked in that spot, but she also got out of it. (no bumpers were damaged during this parking)see caption above.I stayed at 2 of my sister's homes throughout the week. Both of them have a Nespresso machine, the same fancy coffee that Jimmy drinks. I liked it, but I am too cheap to make that my daily drink.Little Island @Pier55 is a man-made park featuring flower beds & shows at a waterside amphitheater in Hudson River Park. This 2-yr old structure was designed to allow people to walk their way all the way up. I took this picture in August, if they don't plant the seeds for this thing soon I don't think it will be ready by December. #DadJokesYou do not need a car in the city when you have underground trains that go most places. Whenever I ride the subway, I always wish we had one in Central Florida. The nighttime view from the roof of my sister's upper west side building. The residents have a garden and picnic tables to enjoy some nice outdoor area in the city. Finally, a view heading into NYC over the George Washington Bridge. I could not even guess how many times I crossed this bridge in my life. What I do know is that it used to cost me about $1.75 to cross into NY. Now the cost is $16. The cost for 6-axle tractor trailers? Over $100.
