No matter if you're royalty or just an Average Joe, being a parent to young children often comes with the same struggles, from desperately wanting siblings get along with each other to fighting over who gets the remote to the television. It's this latter issue that Prince William recently shared has his own young family often at odds.

According to Hello!, the Prince of Wales attended an event on Wednesday (October 9) hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Art (BAFTA) and the Royal African Society where he joked that his and wife Kate Middleton's three children — 11-year-old Prince George, 9-year-old Princess Charlotte and 6-year-old Prince Louis — are "always wrestling over the remote" and fighting for control over what to watch on TV, per E! News.

The revelation came as William, who serves as BAFTA president, praised the impact of the arts, stating that the "screen arts are such an important part of the fabric of our lives, allowing different voices and perspectives to be accessed and enjoyed in the comfort of our own homes."

In addition to his royal duties, Prince William has been spending quality time with his family as Middleton underwent cancer treatment following news of her diagnosis earlier this year. In September, the Princess of Wales revealed that she has completed chemotherapy and had plans to return to public life, adding that she has "a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life."
